This three bedroom, 2 bathroom home is located on Standish Street, a quiet one way street, just over one block from the Pier and the ferries, Town Hall, and the Monument. It is a short stroll to Commercial Street where you will find most shops, restaurants, clubs, and the Art Gallery District.
Located on the top two floors of an updated Victorian house, this rental offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on two floors. When you enter the front door, you proceed upstairs to the second floor of the house, the main living area. There are two bedrooms on this level, one with a king size bed, the other a queen, and a full bathroom with shower. The open floor plan is light and bright and includes a dining room table, a living area with 3 leather sofas and an HDTV, and a full kitchen. There are a generous amount of windows and out the back door is the deck and stairs leading to the private fenced yard.
The remodeled kitchen has granite counters an an island with stools for gatherings. There are stainless steel appliances, and the house comes fully furnished including dishes, glassware & utensils, pots & pans, as well as a blender, toaster, and coffee maker. .The dining room has a large table that comfortably seats 8.
Up the stairs to the third floor is the primary Suite. You will enjoy over 500 square feet of. private living, and there is a Simmons World Class King Bed and an en suite bathroom with tile floor and claw tub. There is a sitting area, a desk, and the laundry in closet (washer and dryer).
Back on the second floor and out the back door is the back deck and the fenced yard. The yard has a tented seating area, a gas grill, and an outside shower.
Other amenities include Wifi, washer and dryer on the third floor, hardwood floors throughout and window a/c's and fans for cooling on those hot summer days. There is a large parking area for several cars and great views of the Monument.
