Hello. If you are the owner of a Vrbo vacation property listed on our website, please read the FAQ below for more information.
Q: Why is my property listed on your site?
A: A Greater Town has partnered with Vrbo in order to increase exposure to your listing. Please rest assured that this is a legally binding partnership as A Greater Town only lists information with permission.
Q: How does it work?
A: When you list your property with Vrbo, you get a dedicated set of pages, sometimes called a microsite, on vrbo.com. This is where visitors review all the details of your property and can submit a request for booking information. Vrbo has agreed to provide A Greater Town with a small subset of your property details so that we can create a summary page for your property on our site. When a visitor clicks on your summary page, they are directed immediately to your micro-site on vrbo.com. Therefore, all interactions with your listing occur on Vrbo. Our site is purely informational.
Q: My property listing seems out of date on your site. What should I do?
A: Due to technical limitations, updates to your Vrbo listing do not show up immediately on our site. In most cases, updates will be reflected within 2-3 days and in rare instances may take up to a week. If you experience a longer delay, please contact us so we can look into it. Also, please know that visitors to your listing on our site are always redirected to your true listing at Vrbo before they can request booking information.
Q: I don't want my property to be listed on your site. What can I do?
A: At this time, we do not process Vrbo listings individually. Instead, Vrbo provides us with a bulk data feed of all property listings and we process them all together. Please note that there is no additional cost to you to have your property listed on our site. In addition, you can only benefit by receiving additional exposure and web traffic to your listing. If, for any reason, you are not comfortable with your listing on our site, it means we have room to improve. In that case, please contact us so that we may improve our system within the given technical constraints.
