Shed your shoes at the front door, and let the fresh breezes off of Nantucket Sound sweep your cares away. You are on vacation as soon as you enter this light, bright, and airy Cape Cod home overlooking the salt marsh, Hyannis Harbor, and Nantucket Sound. Curl up with a book in one of its many cozy nooks and crannies, or stretch out in in the family room, on the screened porch, or on one of the outdoor decks and watch the light play on the water as the boat traffic goes by. Grab your binoculars and watch the wildlife in the bird sanctuary at your doorstep. Slip into your flip flops and stroll to the nearest beach, five minutes away. Within a fifteen minute walk or five minute bicycle ride, you have your pick of beaches, Main Street of Hyannis, and the bustling harbor with its shops and restaurants. And if you like boats, they are all there: charter fishing boats, sightseeing boats, and ferry boats that will take you on a day trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.
The house itself has been updated, is meticulously maintained, and is furnished with a combination authentic New England antiques and functional contemporary furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the rental fee includes all linens and towels. Set up for families, there are plenty of spaces to spread out, even on a rainy day. One of the bedrooms is an en suite separate cottage with bathroom, king sized bed, and a fireplace, just steps away from the kitchen door. There is a separate playhouse for the kids, equipped with lawn and beach toys. Returning from the beach, walk directly to the enclosed outdoor shower (a Cape Cod tradition) which is located outside the kitchen door. And enjoy picnics and barbecues at the large picnic table, close to the gas grill.

Located in Hyannis, this vacation home is in the city center and near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cape Cod Beaches and Hyannis Harbor, while Cape Codder Water Park and Cape Cod Inflatable Park are popular area attractions. Traveling with kids? Consider West Dennis Beach and Cape Cod Maritime Museum. Kayaking and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with ecotours and cycling nearby.
