Maegan Foley, DVM - PRINCETON, NJ

Dr. Maegan Foley became an associate veterinarian at Princeton Animal Hospital in January 2016. “I am very excited to be a part of this team because I wanted to work with a staff and clientele who were dedicated to the health and wellbeing of their pets and a place that would challenge me to become the best veterinarian that I can be.”

Maegan completed her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2011 with a degree in Animal Sciences. She then went onto St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada. She completed her fourth year and clinical training at Texas A&M and graduated in January 2016 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

“I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I learned what a veterinarian was. I used to drag my parents to the pet store every chance I got just so I could look at all of the animals and try to convince them to bring another one home. I also tried to save every injured animal that I found outside, whether it was a bird or an earthworm.”

At home, Dr. Foley has one cat, Chili, and a German Shepherd named Heila . In her free time she enjoys boxing, gardening, volunteering at animal shelters, watching the NJ Devils, spending time with family, friends, and every fall related activity.
