Kristy Stevko, VMD - PRINCETON, NJ

Dr. Kristy Stevko joined the Princeton Animal Hospital family in July of 2018. She is from
New York, where she earned her bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences at Marist College
in 2014. She completed her veterinary training at the University of Pennsylvania School of
Veterinary Medicine in May 2018.

Throughout her time school, Dr. Stevko spent her free time working with a variety of
wildlife and exotic animal species. Her studies brought her to Colorado for wolves and
Massachusetts for both land and sea wildlife. Months off from school found her in both
Australia and Africa to treat more than just native wildlife.

Dr. Stevko’s professional interests are broad, and she is always striving to learn, but she is
most interested in surgery and education of the public. She volunteers at shelters for
surgery. She also continues to volunteer her time for wildlife, with the hopes of working
with as wide a variety of species as possible.

Currently, Dr. Stevko has a rescue Great Pyrenees named Kuma, who she adopted during
her first year of veterinary school. She enjoys taking him hiking and swimming, as well as
spending time with friends and family exploring new things in Philadelphia and New York
City.
