The space
Hi!! Welcome to this three level fun house! Great layout offers flexibility for different family situations! See the photos on our website for floor plan. More photos coming including the views (it’s been so cloudy!). The exterior is not as thrilling as the interior, LOL but we have exciting plans! There is some construction on the house next door and the price reflects that potential nuisance. (8am-3:30p M-Th & 8am-12:30pm F; No work on Weekends). The guys over there are awesome.

Ground floor level has one King bedroom and one bunk room with 4 beds, two bathrooms, a laundry and garage. The garage is filled with beach toys, bikes, towels, a wagon, ice chests and more. We have a golf cart that requires a release and deposit.

The second level is the main floor, which is open and bright, has a large, comfortable living area with a leather sectional covered in sheepskin with a hidden recliner facing a big new Samsung Smart TV. There’s a fireplace with terracotta relief tiles, two separate seating areas and the dining room furnished with a mid century marble dining table & chairs with seating for 8.. The famous green kitchen is there for you to prepare meals and an espresso station to caffeine up.

This level also has the main bedroom with spa bath. Here is another King bed with enough space for a crib and/or toddler bed (stored in the garage). There is a shower bathroom up another 3 steps as you make your way to the cool bar/outdoor private patio level.

The third floor is an entertaining area with mid century bar, 65” smart TV facing the sectional sofa. Steel doors open to the private rear patio with BBQ dining area, ocean views and a fire pit.
PRIMARY BEDROOM

The main level has a massive bedroom with an en-suite spa bathroom, king size bed with Casper mattress, luxury cotton/bamboo sheets and too many pillows. 65” Samsung Qled 4k smart tv with cable and full streaming.
SECOND BEDROOM

The second King bedroom is on the ground level with luxury sheet sets, 55" Samsung QLED 4K Smart TV, built in closets with drawers and bathroom with soaking tub.
THIRD BEDROOM

The bunk room has 2 queen beds below and 2 XL twin beds on top, all covered in luxury Cotton sheets and loaded with pillows. Individually controlled and dimming sconces and an en-suite shower bathroom. A 55” Samsung smart TV.
BATHROOMS

Zachari Dune Beach house has 4 bathrooms: two en-suite, one with a shower and the other with a double vanity and full soaking tub. Stocked with complimentary soaps and shampoos, hairdryer, towels and bath bombs.
KITCHEN

A truly gourmet kitchen with fully stocked spices, oils, pantry goods. Induction range, new pots and pans. Literally everything you need to cook a meal for a chef.

Pantry and spice drawers have probably anything you need. You’ll find some soda and juices in the refrigerator along with Ketchup, mayo, mustard, small milk, Tapatio, stick of butter. There will be some unopened bags of chips, flours/sugars/chocolate chips - we check expiration dates. Help yourself to anything you’ll be making here in the house (not a free for all to bring home LOL)
DINING AREA

A dining table that sits 8 shares an open floor plan with the living room. Extra seating is also available at the kitchen counter next to it. You’ll find some cards and board games in the rattan cabinet. There is a bar stocked with mixers, shakers and glasses. BYO.
TOP FLOOR MID CENTURY BAR TO LARGE PATIO

Third loft level has the original mid century bar in a solarium, low profile seating, another Samsung streaming TV and bistro set. We installed a wall a/c unit because this level gets super warm in the summer. This leads out to the sunny patio with views of the ocean and an outdoor kitchen (still waiting for the bar to be installed). Dining table, hanging chair, sectional sofa, fire pit.
GARAGE

There is a golf cart* in the garage, parking for two cars and one car in the garage. Loads of beach toys, coolers, wagon, bikes. The crib, high chair, toddler bed, dog beds all stored for your use. Ask when you book if you need anything special and we’ll do our best to accommodate. *requires release and deposit.

CHECK IN AND OUT HOURS

I am a design professional artist person, mom and traveler and I understand that sometimes it’s hard to make time deadlines with kids and airports, as well as not being quite ready to leave - (which keeps happening with our guests!). If we can accommodate your schedule please know we will. As you can imagine it’s all about the next guest and the cleaners’ availability.

** I pay professional cleaners a flat fee so that upon checkout you can just leave the beds and towels as they are and the cleaners will do the rest as well as take out the garbage (although if you have fish or diapers or something smelly, of course please take garbage out to the cans). You will immediately see that the house is sparklingly clean and fresh.

** Please note that there is currently some construction next door. Hours are: 8-3:30 M-Th and 8-12:30p Fri; no work on weekends. We know the workers and they are chill, kind and understanding. I have priced the house accordingly. Each week there are different circumstances so I may not know when you book or even the day you are there what is happening.
Guest access
The home and closets are all for you. There is one locked closet in the entry level hallway.
Other things to note
WIFI/ENTERTAINMENT

The house is equipped with high-speed WiFi (up to 200 Mbps) for your work, distance learning, and entertainment needs. The home also has five smart TVs that are ready to stream your favorite programs.

I put various soft drinks, water (also the kitchen has water filtration for on demand drinking water), snacks (carefully checked all expiration dates) in the frig for your use. The pantry is lightly stocked with oils, spices, rice, flour, some cans of whatever - Anything in the house is for you to use while visiting (not for just bringing home of course, LOL)

Oxnard Shores, a neighborhood in Oxnard, is home to this vacation home. Ventura Harbor and Channel Islands Harbor are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Fisherman's Wharf and Pacific View Mall. Channel Islands Maritime Museum and Channel Islands National Park are also worth visiting.
