Dr. Rose (previously Lambert) received her DVM degree in 2003 from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She remained in Massachusetts to complete a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center- Western New England. After her internship, she moved to Southern California and completed an internship and residency in small animal surgery at Animal Specialty Group, Inc., a large referral veterinary hospital in Los Angeles. During her internship and residency, her research involved radiographic evaluation of angular limb deformities in the tibia. She presented her research at the national meeting of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society in March of 2007. Although her research was orthopedic in nature, Dr. Rose has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, specifically, oncologic and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Rose joined VCA Veterinary Specialists in September of 2009 and became board certified in small animal surgery in March of 2010.

Outside of her career-life, Dr. Rose enjoys running, hiking, skiing, yoga, cardio kickboxing, and camping. She and her husband live in Fort Collins with their three Labrador retrievers (Ripley, Ramsey, and Lewis) and their two cats (Ellie and Jordan).
