Kendra Barry - FORT COLLINS, CO

Dr. Kendra Barry is our token foreigner. A true mid-westerner, Dr. Barry was born in Des Plaines, Illinois, and graduated from The University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Barry loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.
Tagging along with Dr. Barry on her recent move to Colorado were Maxwell, an 11 year old Australian Shepherd mix; Starbuck, a 3 year old French bulldog and Alaskan klee klai mix; and Bean, a 3 year old Boston terrier. Dr. Barry’s human family includes her parents in Illinois, two older sisters and an older brother, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Dr. Barry loves all sports, especially tennis, hiking, and biking. She has completed one marathon and hopes to start training for triathalons. She has also traveled extensively, having climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Kenya and visited the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania.
When asked what she loves most about veterinary medicine, Dr. Barry replies, "I love helping sick animals improve and then getting kisses for it!". She especially enjoys seeing her surgical patients pain-free after orthopedic surgery.
