Welcome to your home away from home on historic Route 6A in Barnstable, hosted by HelmsBnB! Step into history at our beautifully fully renovated 1800s house in the heart of West Barnstable, MA. This charming home, which comfortably sleeps four, perfectly blends classic Cape Code charm with contemporary, upscale amenities.

Featured on HGTV's Houses with History, our brick worker's cottage uniquely has two stair cases leading to two separate bedrooms on the second floor. Each upstairs bedroom has a custom twin rope bed, adding a whimsical touch to your stay and ensuring a cozy night’s sleep. The third bedroom is on the main floor with a queen size bed. Enjoy relaxing in the open concept kitchen and living room, where you can cozy up in front of the gas fireplace.

Less than 10 minutes to Barnstable Village for strolling and shopping and Sandy Neck and Craigville beaches to soak up the sun.

We are dog friendly and require a non-refundable $125 dog fee, per dog (2 dogs, max). This does not cover any damage or waste pickup and all dogs must be house trained. If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not allow cats due to guest allergies.

Guests have full access to the house with the exception of a locked storage closet.

While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.

Smoking is not permitted in the house or near any open exterior doors.

Please remember this is our home so treat it like you would a friend's home and we will do our best to make you feel like you're a friend staying with us!

We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.

Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees.

West Barnstable is home to HGTV Featured Renovated Home Minutes to Beach. Hyannis Harbor and Barnstable Old Gaol are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Cape Codder Water Park and Cape Cod Maritime Museum. Wild Animal Lagoon and Putter's Paradise Miniature Golf are also worth visiting.
