Our Ocean Breeze Beach Retreat is located on quiet cul-de-sac just two houses back from the beach.

This is an open and bright beach home on the desirable Anastasia Island beach called Butler Beach. It has an in-ground pool and heated spa in the backyard with plenty of deck space for sunning yourself after spending a relaxing morning at the beach. Fully fenced backyard, but be careful with small dogs as the metal fence has 4 inch gaps.

Two huge covered screened-in porches face the pool deck area and there is a ping pong table located on the second floor screened-in porch. The house has two televisions--one large smart tv in the living room and a smaller smart TV in one of the upstairs bedroom.

The open floor plan features tall ceilings and great flow from the eat-in kitchen to the great room and into the dining area. The master suite features large closet, a large bathroom and there are two wonderful East facing covered porches.

The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill.

There are bicycles for rent, as well, nearby. Butler Beach, where this house is located, is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the northeast of Florida. It’s an expansive white powder beach! You’ll find fisherman, bikers when the tide recedes, walkers, surfers, kite boarders, shell gatherers, and of course sun bathers! St. Augustine city center, only 10 minutes north, is the most ancient, gorgeous city in Florida...and America for that matter! It hosts restaurants, stunning historic churches, some of the finest art galleries and a myriad of chic boutique shops. The first Friday of every month features an Art Walk, where some galleries even serve refreshments and stay open in the evening. As you walk cobble stone streets you have opportunity to explore history all around you, often hearing church bells. You can sight see through horse and buggy or trolley tours, or just shop til you drop! You will want to return year after year!

Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house.

Important info about pool heating and fees: Both the spa and the pool will be at the same temperature if you choose to heat the pool because they share the same plumbing and heater. Most people prefer a heated spa in colder temperatures to a heated pool because the spa is set to 101 degrees and the pool heater would be set to 85 degrees. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. The heating of the spa is included with your stay. If you want to heat the entire pool we have an additional heating fee of $199 plus $25 per night to maintain the temperature. If you arrive at the house and change your mind about the pool heating, the initial heating fee of $199 will not be refunded.

Our pool technician comes on Tuesdays to check the chemicals and Fridays to clean. Our lawn/landscape professional comes on Wednesdays. These dates are subject to change based on weather or other factors, but in general that is when they are scheduled.

The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.

Per St Johns County regulations, only ten people are allowed per rental, not counting children 12-years-old or younger. That means this property is allowed up to 10 adults and the rest of the guests must be 12 and under.

We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Butler Beach, a neighborhood in St. Augustine. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is a notable landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at St. Augustine Beach and Anastasia State Park. Fiesta Falls Mini-Golf and St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park are also worth visiting.
