This beautiful home is located within walking distance of Osterville Village and Joshua's Pond and a few minutes drive to spectacular Dowses Beach.
Relax at the end of your beach days, and watch the sun set in rockers on the new large front farmers porch, or head to the huge new back deck for a cocktail with a table & chairs, umbrella, comfortable outdoor seating, new outdoor shower, and a gas grill. The large private back yard is perfect for families and BBQ’s!
This three bedroom home includes two and a half baths, wireless internet, and mini split air conditioning units. The kitchen has seating for 6, granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, and is well equipped for those who choose to cook or grill on vacation.
The first floor includes a Master Bedroom (king bed) with a new en suite Master Bathroom with double sinks and a spacious marble walk in shower with grab bars. The living room has vaulted ceilings, a large sectional and lounge chair and a flat screen TV mounted above the fireplace. The first floor also has a new half bath with a new washer & dryer.
The second floor has two bedrooms: bedroom 1 (queen bed); bedroom 2 (2 double beds and single trundle) and a new full bath with a shower/tub. There is also a landing that overlooks the great room with 2 comfortable chairs perfect for reading a book or checking emails.
The shed includes 6 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and 2 kayaks to make your vacation rental feel like home.
The rental includes a beach pass to all Barnstable beaches on Cape Cod Bay, Nantucket Sound, and multiple ponds. Joshua's Pond is a 3 minute walk away and offers a safe oasis for small children. It has a lifeguarded beach with ample parking if one chooses to drive and includes facilities and crystal clear water.
Dowses Beach is a 5 minute drive and offers white sand, warm water, and a perfect place to collect shells. It also has a large parking lot, lifeguards and a bath house.
It is a quick 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Osterville Village on Main Street which offers both take-out and fine dining as well as a number of quaint shops to spend an afternoon browsing through. Ice cream at Gone Chocolate or Salty Cow is not to be missed! Fancy's Market is right around the corner and has all your food preparation needs.
Osterville is centrally situated to access all of the Cape, and if you want to make a quick day trip to the islands, the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are less than 7 miles away.
