This charming cabin is right on the water of beautiful Horseshoe Lake (Sandbar) in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is close to Crosslake, Nisswa, Breezy Point and Gull Lake and is one of Minnesota's best kept secrets. This is the closest you'll get to Maui while in Minnesota with an expansive sand beach and crystal clear waters! Situated on 150 feet of pristine shoreline also referred to as “The Gold Coast” by locals, this cabin is just steps from the water. It also offers plenty of privacy with almost 2 wooded acres and a beautiful nature pond in the rear of the property. All of this just 2 1/2 hours north of the Twin Cities.

This cabin is loaded with charm and we have recently completed a whole house renovation with many upgrades. 3 bedrooms on the main level all have newly installed LVP flooring, rugs, paint, Queen sized beds with pillow top mattresses and bedding as well as charming decor and furniture. Each main floor bedroom now includes a smart TV and black-out window shades. Large full bathroom on the main level has tile floors, large vanity & mirror, tile shower surround and is modern and bright. Large Kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a new 4 door refrigerator with ice, new high efficiency dishwasher, reverse osmosis water system, as well as newly installed luxury vinyl plank floors. Kitchen includes small appliances, dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools - everything you need to make meals a breeze. Our cabin has a large dining room with plenty of seating and newly installed luxury vinyl plank floors. The main floor living room has a large leather sectional couch and separate seating area with plush chairs. Fresh paint, newly installed wood floors with plush area rugs, fresh and fun decor and a new 65” flat screen smart TV and DVD player. Quaint little sunroom with screened in porch over looks the lake and is a great place for your morning coffee. Board games, toys, books and DVD's are in the cabin in case of a rainy day or need for a break from the sunshine and water.

Downstairs you'll find a bar and family room with plenty of seating and a smart TV. The bar has been updated with fresh furnishings and decor throughout. Sleeping room in the basement has 2 Full sized beds with pillow top mattresses, bedding and decor and can sleep four. 3/4 bath in the basement has a vanity, shower, and many other updates. Recently renovated laundry room with new LG extra large capacity and high efficiency washer & gas dryer. The cabin also has a new water softener and central air conditioning. Everything is updated, fresh and clean with a coastal/beach theme. We are excited to share our cabin at the lake.

Beach front is where the beauty and fun is. Plenty of seating on the newly refinished covered and open decks boasting beautiful maintenance free decking. Brand new Polywood dining table with benches and chairs are the perfect place for lakeside dining including a cantilever umbrella for shade. Lounge chairs on the beach are there for soaking up the sun. Comfy oversized Homecrest chairs in the covered area are the perfect place to relax in the shade. S’mores and an evening fire are the perfect way to wind down at the beautiful fire pit with Adirondack chairs. There is plenty of room to roam and play. Catch fish right off the dock and swim in one of Minnesota's clearest lakes. Your kids will be able to build sandcastles galore in the beautiful sand beach with provided beach toys. And YES! The beach ALWAYS looks like the pictures! We also have a large dock with platform, ladder, stairs and benches as well as a swim platform for hours of jumping in the lake! The lake is also home to plenty of wildlife - bald eagles, loons, ducks, blue heron's, and hummingbirds. Surely a place where memories will be made! We love this cabin and hope that you will too. One of our favorite things to do is enjoy a spectacular sunrise on the deck with a cup of coffee while listening to the loons. Certainly a little piece of heaven by the water!

**We are a family oriented cabin. We do not rent for bachelor/bachelorette parties.

* Rates - $3950 per week (7 nights) during summer months. Check-in Saturday at 4 pm and Check-out the following Saturday 11 am. An extra $50/person per night is charged for groups over 10 people. Prior approval must be obtained from owners for additional guests. Cash/check payments are welcome.

*We only rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday, from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

*For stays starting Memorial Day weekend - the Friday of Memorial Day weekend is included free of charge. Stay 8 nights for the price of 7!

**For stays ending with Labor Day weekend - Saturday and Sunday nights are included free of charge. Stay 9 nights for the price of 7!

* $300 Cleaning Fee

* Dates are now open for Fall. Come spend a week or a long weekend when the lake is quieter and the colors are spectacular. 3 night minimum please.

* Sales Tax of 7.375% must be collected on all stays per State of MN.

Located in Merrifield, this vacation home is on a lake. Crosswoods Golf Course and Deacon's Lodge Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Mississippi River and Gull Lake.
