This beautiful property backs to Cape Henlopen State Park in the highly desirable Cape Shores waterfront community. The renovated, four-bedroom home is very close to the beaches on Delaware Bay and the new Cape Shores outdoor pool. It’s a 15-minute walk to the private Cape Shores tennis & pickleball courts and the private Cape Shores fishing pier.

The lower level is the entry to the home with under house parking and space to store bikes and beach chairs. The second level features three bedrooms, one of which has a private bathroom, along with a full bathroom in the hall. This floor also has a family room area with a flat screen TV and access to the rear deck.

The upper level is where the main living room, dining and kitchen are located with access to the rear screened porch leading out to the rooftop balcony. The primary bedroom with private bathroom is also on this floor.

The property is down the street from the Cape Henlopen park entrance with miles of sandy Atlantic Ocean beaches, biking and hiking trails, surfing, fishing, historic Fort Miles, frisbee golf, a nature center, and great bird-watching.

The Cape Shores development is adjacent to the Cape May/Lewes Ferry and about two miles from downtown Lewes shopping, restaurants, museums, and Lewes Harbor.

Cape Shores is the only waterfront community in Lewes with a pool, private fishing pier, & tennis/pickleball courts.

Pets are not permitted at this property

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement, and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Guest for the entire rental period. The Guest signing the Lodging Agreement must be at least 25 years of age and must occupy the Property for the entire rental period. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.
