Secluded and Rustic authentic Log Cabin sits on 4 acres of peace and quiet. You will feel like you are being transported to a place back in time but with the modern conveniences of electricity and in-door plumbing. The cabin consists of an open main floor with a kitchenette, 3/4 bath and living room area. The bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed and these are nestled in the loft.
The deck over looks the praire and the bon fire pit. There are short trails for walking. The nearest house is 1/2 mile down the road. New Ulm and St Peter are short drives. This property is seasonal. The only source of heat is the wood burning stove on the main floor. There are two window AC units to keep comfortable if it is hot out.
Located in Lafayette, this cabin is in a rural area. Wanda Gag House and Minnesota Music Hall of Fame are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Swanson Tennis Center and The Putting Green, Inc. The Arboretum at Gustavus Adolphus College and Harold and Ruth Schaefer Fine Arts Center are also worth visiting.
