Getting to the beach will be quick and easy using the community access just a two-minute walk from the house. Upstairs, you'll find a ships watch deck where you can enjoy views of both the ocean and the sound. Dogs are welcome at Slumbering Duck, so you won't have to leave your fur babies behind. They'll love running around in the expansive front yard with lush, grassy lawn.
Located in the Carolina Dunes community, Slumbering Duck's central location means you'll be just minutes from downtown Duck to the south, and a short drive to the nearby town of Corolla to the north. Take advantage of the multi-use path that runs from northern Duck all the way to the heart of town. There, you'll find a variety of shopping, dining and activities - all just a 10-minute bike ride from the house. Along the way, you'll pass by several popular restaurants including the Village Table and Tavern and Sunset Grille and Raw Bar. The Town of Duck amphitheater hosts yoga and fitness classes, outdoor concerts and theater, children's activities and annual events. There's also a public park complete with a soundside boardwalk that takes you on a delightful stroll along the water to a variety of boutiques and restaurants.
