At the end of the night, retreat to the spacious primary that leads out to a second private terrace overlooking the pool. In addition to the outdoor pool, Croatan Surf Club's thoughtfully designed oceanfront oasis boasts lush greenery, a secluded in-ground spa, and a children's area complete with "spray ground" and zero-edge wading pool. Easily transition from the pool to the beach using the convenient boardwalk complimented by a shaded gazebo. The elaborate indoor complex is an equally luxurious masterpiece of cut-stone and tile, consisting of resort amenities that make Sweet Escape the premier choice for both summer and off-season stays. An indoor heated pool (open year-round) is accentuated with a translucent roof, perfect to catch the sun during the day and swim under the stars at night. There's even a fitness center for keeping up with your exercise routine while you're here. Covered parking allows for two cars with additional outdoor overflow parking.
Centrally located at Milepost 7.5 in Kill Devil Hills, Sweet Escape is within a mile radius from shopping, dining, grocery stores, a movie theater and mini-golf. Grab lunch, dinner or drinks at Goombay's Raw Bar & Grill, just a seven-minute walk away. You can also walk or bike to the Wright Brothers National Memorial, where you can climb up to the monument for a panoramic view of Kill Devil Hills.
