The Carter house has a lot of charm and character. Gas lanterns adorn either side of the beautiful front door, upon entering you are greeted with elegance beginning with a crystal chandelier that drops through the ceiling from the cozy library upstairs. The main floor has a TV area with a big sectional, dining table, gas fireplace, full size kitchen, bathroom, laundry and kids bunk room. Sleeps 7 comfortably. There are 3 bedrooms each room having its own private entrance. To get upstairs you ascend the beautiful spiral staircase entering a bedroom with its own private bathroom & coffee bar which leads to the private deck with a gas fireplace. This room has lots of great character, a beautiful rain shower built of brick and stone, and two double doors that lead to the library. The curved library makes for a very cozy and relaxing reading area with lots of books. A great place to enjoy your coffee and listen to old records. If you descend the spiral staircase you enter the other bedroom. Through the kitchen you can enter the shared courtyard where there is a water fountain and lilacs that bloom in the spring.

Located in Gillette, this vacation home is in the city center and in the mountains. Rockpile Museum and CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Facilities are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Gillette Country Club and Energy Capital Sports Complex. Enjoy the area's slopes with skiing, and don't miss out on the snowmobiling and ice skating.
