Located just six miles west of Franklin, this house in the southern Appalachaian mountains is a great getaway for a weekend, a week or even a season. This was our family home for over 20 years. It has recently been remodeled with fresh paint, hard-wood floors in the living area and new carpet in the bedrooms. The view from the front deck is absolutely fabulous and creates a sense of openness that really sets this house apart from many mountain rentals. Easy access is a rare and added bonus. (only 1 minute off of U.S. 64)
The house is completely furnished, including tableware, bed linens, towels, etc. . The living room is furnished in navy blue leather. Sleeping accommodations for up to 6 people are available (additional charge of $10/guest/night for 3 or more.) If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in the mountains in a clean and comfortable home with room for the entire family, this is the place. We do not solicit comments for this site from our guests but we often receive notes or cards at check out and have recently added a few of those comments to this site. Over half of our business comes from guests who return year after year. We take pride not only in the house but in making our guests feel welcome and at home.

Located in Franklin, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Franklin Gem and Mineral Museum and Scottish Tartans Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Franklin Golf Course and The Factory. Parker Meadows Park and Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails and mountain climbing.
