Escape to the tranquility and peacefulness of our beautiful octagon shaped 2 level mountain home located just 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap, VA. You will feel like you’re away from it all in our 3 bedroom, 3 bath mountain home only 20 minutes from Mount Airy (Mayberry). It is also conveniently located to Chateau Morrisette and other wineries, Hillsville Flea Market, Galax Fiddler's Convention, Floyd Fest, Mabry Mill, Blue Ridge Music Center, the New River Trail and lots of other outdoor adventures. You will enjoy the privacy of our home as the only neighboring house you’ll see is behind you with no one beside or in front of you. On the main floor is a kitchen and dining area, a large great room with a rock fireplace and a wall of windows facing a spectacular long-range Piedmont view along with a deck spacious enough to entertain or relax. There is a large master bedroom with a king bed and full bath with a walk in shower. You will find an additional queen bedroom and full bathroom (with a bathtub/shower combo) on the main level along with a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer. The downstairs has a fully finished great room with a large Smart TV, bar, video games and an additional bedroom and bathroom. There is a hot tub on the lower deck. We love relaxing in our own little corner of the southwest Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains and look forward to sharing it with you.
Fancy Gap is home to this vacation home. Earle Theatre and Laurel Hill Birthplace Of J.E.B. Stuart are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Stewarts Creek State Wildlife Management Area and Crooked Creek Fish Management Area. Andy Griffith Mural and Mayberry Replica Courthouse are also worth visiting. Take time off to check out the winery tours in the area, or get some fresh air with adventures like mountain biking and hiking/biking trails nearby.
