Welcome to 'The Nest'. Your mountain escape — a stunning handcrafted log cabin perched high above the Ogden Valley. With authentic chinked logs, rustic design, and all the modern comforts of home, this cabin blends mountain charm with luxurious relaxation.
Step inside to soaring windows that frame panoramic views of the canyon below and the snow-covered peaks beyond. The open living area is cozy and inviting, with plush seating, a stone fireplace, and access to a large wraparound deck perfect for morning coffee or evening grilling under the stars.
The Nest is tucked along a private street between the Sundown and Timberline Lodges at Powder Mountain. The road is paved to the garage for easy access — a true luxury in this elevated mountain subdivision.

Guest Access:
There is access through the attached garage or a front door entrance to the mud room leading to the bottom level of the home. Please take care to remove shoes, gear as to prevent tracking in snow and mud.
The Neighborhood:
The Nest is located on a private street close to the main road connecting the Sundown lift parking lot to the Timberline Lodge parking lot. The road is paved to the garage. Snow removal may be limited in order to maintain ski/in out conditions. Parking is limited. Please plan for and comply with parking restrictions. Snowplow service on State Highway 158 is from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. so late-night check-ins are not advised.
Getting Around:
A 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE IS MANDATORY FOR THIS SKI AREA
From Wolf Creek in Eden to Powder Mountain, it’s a 5-mile climb to the ski area. Going up is easy but coming down it’s best to put the 4-wheel drive in a low gear to control speed. Depending on snow levels, guests can strap on their skis and maneuver to the Sundown Lift to access Lighting Ridge cat skiing (need a pass beforehand). Lighting Ridge then leads to Paradise Lift in the middle of the ski area. At the end of the day there is an access trail that leads back to the The Nest's private road.
Interaction with Guests:
We recommend that guests plan to purchase groceries on the first day of arrival for the duration of the reservation or arrange for grocery service. The Valley Market in Eden, Utah is the closest grocery store. Grocery service is available through Champagne Powder Tours & Concierge. This includes liquor store deliveries. Please note, Utah that Liquor Stores are separate from grocery stores and closed on Sundays. Better to plan ahead, stock the property and leave the days open to enjoy your vacation.
Located in Powder Mountain Ski Resort, a neighborhood in Eden, this vacation home is in the mountains. Union Station and Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Park are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Wolf Creek Golf Course and New World Distillery. Nordic Mountain and Golden Spike Arena are also worth visiting.
