Walk to downtown Douglas or the beach, bike to Saugatuck, meet friends at the marina, hike the dunes, golf top-tier courses, or take a ride on the only hand-cranked, chain ferry operating in the USA. For the adventuresome, hike Mount Baldy and run down the dunes to Oval beach or ride the sand dunes at the nearby dune schooners. Plus, the local Interurban bus service provides door-to-door service with ease of a phone call. This community offers endless seasonal events and activities appealing to everyone’s interests.
