Downtown Douglas is less than a three minute walk and offers a perfect variety of dining, shopping, coffee and cocktails. Rent kayaks and paddleboards to take advantage of the nearby Kalamazoo River or take to the kiddos to the playground two blocks from the condo. Watch incredible sunsets on recently built beautiful outlooks at Douglas Beach (only five minutes by car or a 1.7 mile walk on the paved paths) and the legendary Oval Beach is 2 miles. Both are close to the iconic Root Beer Barrel restaurant or Woosah Coffee shop where you can shop, dine or rent bikes and beach equipment.
Conveniently located less than a mile from Downtown Saugatuck, it is an easy 20 minute walk or hop on the Interurban Bus for $1 per person to avoid parking hassles. This popular vacation town has been an artist’s enclave for decades and you will enjoy the creative influence seen in the shops and restaurants lining the streets and waterfront. Spend time on the river enjoying your favorite beverage and watch the boats as they travel to and from the big lake or take advantage of local rentals and plan your own sightseeing tour. Fennville wineries and orchards are also close by - less than 10 minutes by car. Ivy House, a popular event venue, is only three minutes from this condo.
