The home features an open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area designed for gathering and relaxing together. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances, granite countertops, and seating for 6 at the island, while the dining table comfortably seats 8 with sweeping valley views. The living room offers a large gas fireplace, a 66-inch TV, and plenty of space to unwind after a day of exploring.
With 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a spacious den, the home comfortably accommodates large groups. Two bedrooms are located on the main floor, including a primary suite with a king bed, private bathroom, and jacuzzi tub, as well as an additional king bedroom.
Upstairs, you'll find another primary suite with a king bed and private bath, plus a fourth bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds. The upstairs den provides flexible sleeping arrangements with two sleeper sofas and trundle beds, making it a great space for kids or additional guests.
Step outside to take in the expansive mountain views from the large deck, complete with seating, a gas grill, and an 8-person hot tub overlooking the valley. The 15-acre property offers privacy and direct access to the surrounding natural beauty, with the Gunnison National Forest just nearby for hiking, skiing, and endless outdoor adventures.
Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, a laundry room, a mudroom, and ample parking for multiple vehicles, trailers, or recreational gear.
The home is located approximately 15 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the ski slopes, offering a perfect balance of seclusion and convenience.
Please note: During the winter months, AWD or 4WD vehicles are required to access the property due to mountain road conditions.
Also, we do not recommend relying on services like Uber to get to and from the airport. There are few drivers in the valley and we have found the service to be somewhat unreliable.
Located in Crested Butte, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Crested Butte Mountain Resort and Crested Butte Nordic Center are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Slate River and Lake Grant.
