2 Br Condo Vacation Rental In Coronado, California

This condo is in the beautiful El Mirador building.
From the moment you walk in the front door and see the beautiful ocean through the fully retractable door, you will know you made the right choice. This 1500 sq ft condo has recently been completely renovated to provide an open floor plan that is perfect for families.

This unit is on the terrace level with no need to ever have to go into the lobby or use the elevator. Take one flight of exterior stairs off the terrace and you are out of the building and on you way to the beach or parking garage.

The master bedroom has a select comfort king sized bed with an ensuite bath with a walk in shower and double sinks. Attached is a walk in closet.

The guest room sleeps 4 with 2 twin beds and a king sized bed as well. The ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There is plenty of drawer storage ,and a full walk in closet.
The bedrooms and the living room all have large Samsung smart tv's. There is wireless internet for all your electronic and streaming needs. Dish network is provided as well.

The kitchen and bar are equipped with all viking appliances. There is bar seating at the island as well as a table for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Tile floors throughout eliminate any worry about tracking sand and saltwater into the unit. Air conditioning and fans in every room will keep you cool, but we suspect you will choose to just throw open the windows and doors and enjoy the ocean breeze!

When you return from the beach or pool just throw those towels into the full sized washer and dryer inside the unit.

There is no need to haul all your food down to the community BBQ areas and fight for a BBQ, since this condo is on the terrace level, there is a full sized Weber BBQ as well as plenty of seating and some reclining chairs for sunbathing.

When you are ready to head out to the beach there are plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and sand toys to use. You can grab your stuff and go straight to the beach from the terrace. No need to haul the stuff through the halls and wait for an elevator! If you want to BBQ on the beach, there is even a small portable Weber BBQ.

Although there may be one parking space provided you could easily spend your time on the island without a car. There are buses, taxi's and Uber to take you where you can't walk or ride a bike.

Coronado Shores is a 10 building resort complex just south of the Hotel del Coronado. There is a staffed gated entry as well as 24 hour doormen in each building. The complex has 4 swimming pools with adjacent hot tubs as well as 8 tennis courts. The gas BBQs located next to the swimming pool areas work well and are kept very clean. You may also enjoy a workout at the Health Club which is equipped with treadmills and weight machines. As a guest, you may use all of these facilities by showing your guest card.

If you need a break from relaxing on the beach can walk through Coronado's quiet streets to look at the charming cottages and seaside mansions, or walk across the street to enjoy the view of the bay and the Coronado Bay Bridge, or visit the community center and climb the rock wall, take a cooking class, or play a game of basketball. If seeing all that water makes you itch to get out on it, the marina across the street offers rentals of jet skis, sail boats, ski boats, or lots of other watercraft.

If you don't feel like cooking, take a walk uptown as the sun sets. The boardwalk goes right along the ocean, past the historic Hotel Del Coronado, and in just 15 minutes you can enjoy dozens of world-class restaurants and lounges. You won't have to eat in the same restaurant twice during your stay!

You won't want to miss the free concerts in the park on Sunday evenings, or the Friday night dance bands at the Beach Club here at the Coronado Shores. Jet skiing and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
