Classic Carmel cottage with it's original charm and character welcomes you in as soon as you open the front door. Good sized, comfortable rooms, with natural light invite you in to relax and enjoy your stay. There are many big windows and French doors that bring the outside in. Beautiful hardwood floors are throughout this almost 1000 square foot quaint, cottage house.
The living room and dining area are open to each other. The living room features a classic Carmel stone gas fireplace, an Italian leather sofa, 2 comfortable armchairs and an HD TV.
The dining room has all the charm of a storybook cottage. It is one step up and overlooks the living room. It also has a big picture window that looks out on the front stone patio and yard.
Both bedrooms have French doors onto the back deck. One bedroom with a king bed and one bedroom with a queen bed. The king bedroom has an HD TV.
There are 2 Bathrooms, one with a stall shower and one with a bathtub/shower.
The back deck is a place of peaceful beauty. Enjoy a glass of wine, cook your meals on the grill or just relax. Later in the evening you can oftentimes hear the waves crashing on the beach in the stillness of the night.
The house is located on a quiet residential street, yet still close enough to the village and beach to walk to(there is uphill/downhill). Thus offering tranquility and convenience. Front and back yards are fully fenced. Off street parking in the driveway for 2 cars tandem. Minimum 30 day stay, no exceptions.
Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Northeast Carmel, a neighborhood in Carmel. Pebble Beach Golf Links and Fisherman's Wharf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Carmel Beach and Monterey Bay. Check out an event or a game at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and consider making time for Monterey Bay Aquarium, a top attraction not to be missed. Discover the area's water adventures with kayaking and scuba diving nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with cycling and hiking.
