Cottage sleeps 8 in 3 comfortable bedrooms (new blinds through out)
There is large family room , open to dining area, with TV ,VCR, and DVD.
Also a sun room/additional family room, with 2nd TV ,VCR and DVD.
Perfect option when the kids and adults want their separate spaces to watch movies, or play board games.
Large selection of family friendly DVD, VHS movies. 31 Playstation games,& various board games.

There are two bathrooms, one 3 piece and one 2 piece fully functioning outdoor bathroom,attached to side of cottage, convenient for when you and the family are enjoying the great outdoors .
The cottage has a warm and relaxing feeling with extensive use of pine throughout.
With soft white and pine bedrooms to give that light airy feel.
Cottage comes complete with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker,blender.

As you can see from the photos, this is a very nice, comfortable cottage and the outside is sure to please as well. As you exit the cottage, there is a large glass front wrap around deck with a large picnic table, Dream Chair and 2 rocking Muskoka chairs and a great view of Farquhar Lake.
The propain barbeque is under cover in a small addition to to the deck area which ensures that you will barbeque in comfort regardless of the weather situation.
Down a few stairs you are well on your way to one of the nicer shorelines in our system. You will love this area of the property because it has a large shore deck with lots of chairs for lounging,and picnic table and there is a dock off the shore deck.
In addition there is a beautiful fire pit area for those popular evening marshmallow roasts.
When the spirit moves you there is a Canoe, stand up paddle board, 2 kayaks, paddle boat and row boat for your on water pleasure.

Brand new mattresses in all bedrooms. Special mattress encasements on each bed. (protects against,bed bugs, dust mites, and allergens)
Owner provides : pillows, pillow protectors, mattress pads & blankets.
Green cleaning products that are septic tank friendly (no need to bring dish soap) use cleaners provided.
No Pets allowed/ NO Smoking.
Guests must bring : sheets, towels, toiletries, firewood, replace propane tank after use (in town @ IGA)
Beautiful clean, crystal clear lake perfect for swimming, canoeing, fishing or boating. The shoreline is a gradual sand bottom, with some rocks on edge of the shoreline. There is also steps coming off the deck into the gradual sandy bottom.

Farquhar lake is excellent for fishing. The sparkling clean, medium sized lake boasts excellent lake trout fishing as well as large and smallmouth bass. Great catches of 2-3 lb smallmouth bass caught right off the dock have been had.

Nearby there is golf and horseback riding.

Many of our guests have explored the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve where they have visited the Wolf Centre or taken a Walk in the Clouds.

For the sports enthusiast there are waterski and wakeboard programs available in Haliburton and mountain biking down Sir Sam's ski hills is not to be missed! Family rafting on the Madawaska river and white water canoe and kayak courses are also available.

The cottage is conveniently located between the communities of Haliburton and Bancroft. Both have active tourism programs that run summer long. Live theatre programs, arts and craft shows, galleries and tours are extremely popular. Bancroft boasts Canada's largest annual gem and mineral show and Haliburton Highland Games are also a favorite yearly spectacle.
If you are in need of supplies, the nearest village is Wilberforce (5 min drive) where there is a large food store, LCBO, beer store, restaurant, banking, gas station and other shops.

With so many things to see and do, you'll be sure to create lasting holiday memories!

Paudash Lake Marina and Lower High Falls on York are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Silent Lake Provincial Park and High Falls. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as hiking in the area.
