Dig into a good book, or just enjoy the view. You can watch storms develop on the horizon, and play themselves out before they ever reach you. As evening turns to night, relax and take in the starry night skies, and steady cadence of the flashing light of the island lighthouse. Most summer evenings -many with brilliant sunsets- are cool with breezes, which are great for sleeping.

Located in Margaree Harbour, this cottage is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Inverness Miners Museum and Margaree Salmon Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cabot Cliffs Golf Course and Cabot Links. Centre de la Mi-Careme and Inverness County Centre for the Arts are also worth visiting. Snorkeling and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and ecotours nearby.
