"SUNSET VIEW ESCAPE" - OCEANFRONT—is located on the beautiful California coast. It is situated in a perfect location on a quiet cul-de-sac with no traffic or noise and is nestled up against private, open space in the back. The house is designed so you are protected by mountains in the back and directly faces the majestic Pacific Ocean, giving an ocean view from every room in the house!!

This quiet, heavenly place is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 3,300 sq. ft. custom built craftsman style home at the ocean's edge designed to bring the outdoors in with windows, windows, windows, everywhere including huge wood clad, picture glass sliders giving fantastic ocean views from every room in the house.

There are standard beds to accommodate up to 8 people; a master bedroom upstairs features a California King-size bed, a Jacuzzi tub, and a gorgeous rock fireplace with a sitting area. It also features a private, protected deck with breathtaking ocean views. There are three bedrooms downstairs: one has a California King-size bed, and the other two have Queen-size beds. The three bedrooms downstairs also offer an incredible ocean view, and they feature private, protected, and beautiful flagstone patios with outdoor sitting areas surrounded by vibrant flowers.
**In addition to the four bedrooms, there is also a fold-out sofa in the upstairs LIVING ROOM (common area).

Upstairs is a great room layout with a beautiful rock fireplace you can snuggle up to and read a good book. And for the chefs out there, there is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen upstairs that has all stainless appliances, granite countertops, Henckel knives, a spice collection, a range of pots, pans, and utensils, white tableware including serving dishes, coffee, tea, and sugar. The open-concept layout of the kitchen, dining, bar, and great room, together with barstools at the island, allows for entertaining in the kitchen. You will always be part of all the activities and enjoy the panoramic ocean view while cooking.

Watch breathtaking sunsets every night as you escape from the busy noise of life. Retreat to the deck or the upstairs and watch grey whales from the spacious 800 sq. ft. deck as they migrate Northbound in springtime from March to June and Southbound in the fall from October to November!

Watch and listen to the crashing waves against the seashore as you unplug and relax.

Open the front door, and you are steps away from Portuguese beach and from feeling the sand beneath your feet and the clean, crisp ocean mist upon your face.

This space is vibrant and full of life, from the deer strolling through the property every morning and evening to seeing the hummingbirds dance around the purple cone bushes. Watch the hawk perched atop a tree just outside the kitchen window (above the sink) or the foxes, bunnies, and wild turkeys wandering about in the front yard. Look to the sky and don't miss out on bird watching, from pelicans to osprey, seagulls, and many others.... Happy wildlife watching :)

There's Wi-Fi throughout the house and cable, with over 100 channels. Every bedroom has its own TV.
You may choose to use the television/WIFI........... or not............... disconnecting entirely from the world :)

For those on Verizon, you'll have no problem with cell service; the tower is a block behind us. For those with AT&T you'll likely have to use Wi-Fi calling as the tower is down the coast.

All linens are provided, including beach towels, towels, washcloths, hairdryers, irons, laundry detergent, shampoo, and conditioner.

Beach anyone?
Open the front door and walk to Portuguese beach, only a short two blocks away. Put your feet in the sand, beach comb, or try your hand at flying a kite.

Tide pooling at Shell Beach, whale watching from the deck or getting up close and personal at Bodega Head / Sonoma Coast State Beach, seeing and learning about marine life at UC DAVIS Marine Laboratory, Hiking at Bodega Head and many other trails, Shopping, Wine Tasting at Gourmet Au Bay or Sonoma Coast Vineyards in Bodega Bay, Golfing at the Links Bodega Harbour, Horseback riding on the beach at Chanslor Ranch, Kayak tours by "The Surf Shack" on the ocean, bay, or Russian River and see marine life like seals, rays, etc., Rent surfboards and kayaks at "The Surf Shack" and explore on your own, Fish off the beach or jump on a fishing charter such as Anita's Fishing Charters, Ziplining at Sonoma Canopy Tours in nearby Occidental, and attend mass at St. Theresa of Avila in the town of Bodega which was part of a scene from Alfred Hitchock's "The Birds." Wow.......I think I got it all :)
