An lightly furnished four bedroom - two bathroom house with lovely outside desks and a views of Bellingham Bay. 5min drive to artsy downtown Fairhaven (shopping, food, bookshop, sightseeing) and 10min to downtown Bellingham. Bus access one block.
Wooded walking paths 3-5min away with access to the Interurban scenic trail and 10min from the seaside Chuckanut Mountains.
The private en suite master bedroom has side porch access and a walk-in closet and views of the bay. The second bedroom is a large room with high ceilings and sliding doors to the side porch. Plenty of space for a second living room, play room, family room, expansive office space or another creative usage.
The third and forth bedrooms are smaller and more intimate, both with closets and older but cozy carpeting.
There is also a mudroom with washer & drier, storage and a large freezer. A tv/games room/study. A large bright fully outfitted kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, pots, pans & dishes as well as a standing bar with stools, a desk and the kitchen table. From the kitchen is access to a sitting area on the large new upper deck, the lower deck by stairs and the expansive front yard.
Lastly is a large living room/dining room with a tall vaulted ceiling.
The living room, kitchen and upper deck have views of Bellingham Bay as well as sunsets across the water.
Edgemoor, a neighborhood in Bellingham, is home to this vacation home. Mount Baker Theatre and Whatcom Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Bellingham Cruise Terminal and Lake Padden Golf Course. Sehome Hill Arboretum and Bellingham Railway Museum are also worth visiting.
