509 Ocean Ridge is the perfect place to spend your vacation time in
Atlantic Beach. The house is situated right on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Our cottage is well-suited for a large family to enjoy time together with ample room for everyone.
A large dining table sits next to the fully furnished kitchen. The spacious living room provides a comfortable place to relax. Downstairs, under the street-side deck, is the outdoor gas grill. A deck with picnic table is on the front of the house where you and your family can have a relaxing outdoor meal or just relax
On the large oceanfront deck, you can enjoy sitting (or swinging) in the shade, or lounging in the sun. Just a few steps off the deck and you will feel the sand between your toes! In addition there is an enclosed sun porch next to the open deck with a small table that can be used for dining, games, or writing your next novel.
We suggest that you plan your day so that you can catch the phenomenal sunrises and sunsets . Make sure you have your camera ready!
Our home is a short distance from the Coral Bay Shopping Center, as well as numerous fine dining restaurants and coffee houses, Local shops are scattered throughout the area. Fort Macon State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium, and several other museums are located in nearby Morehead City and Beaufort. Atlantic Beach Town Park is nearby and features mini golf, a skate park, and a splash pad. For the fishermen, opportunities abound, including charter boats and surf fishing.
Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is near a water park and on the beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Coral Bay Shopping Center and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center. Traveling with kids? Consider North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, or check out an event or a game at Big Rock Stadium. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and ecotours nearby.
