Located on the grounds of the beautiful Stage Neck Inn oceanfront resort, the Grand Maine Seaside Cottage is a magnificent turn-of -the-century shingle-style home. The cottage is just steps away from the exclusive York Harbor Beach and Stage Neck Pool and Tennis Club. Rental of the cottage includes a membership to the Stage Neck Pool and Tennis Club, in season, during the stay. Rental also includes full use of resort facilities, including indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, sauna, and Stage Neck Spa. Usage is for up to sixteen people. The cottage is unique as it is situated at the mouth of the York River and harbor only steps away from the beach. The views are spectacular. The vast blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean stretch out before you, all the while the hustle and bustle of local lobster boats resonate through the harbor.

This luxurious summer cottage, from an era gone by, boasts over 10,000 square feet of well-appointed living space; the cottage provides plenty of room for family and friends to spend time together enjoying all the wonders of York Harbor. While just steps away from the sandy beach with sun-filled days of tide pooling, surfing and swimming, the cottage is just a short drive from live music, theaters, outlet shopping, award-winning restaurants and outdoor activities, such as kayaking, biking, and hiking.

The grand front entrance stairs lead up to the expansive deck, which surrounds the formal living room, dining room and sun filled breakfast room with incredible views of the harbor and beach. The views of York Harbor continue to the back of the house into the gourmet eat-in kitchen and entertainment center with flat screen TV. On the main level above the garage is one bedroom with two queen beds, full bath, sitting area and ocean view.

The third floor has three bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, spacious sitting area, full bath, and walk-out balcony with ocean view. The junior suite has an ocean view with king bed, full bath and a private separate space, perfect for a baby or small child. The third room at the back of the house has two twin beds and a full hallway bath.

There are three bedrooms and one full bath on the ground floor. The first room has a king size bed and sitting area with a pull-out couch. The second bedroom has a king bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds plus a separate play area. The ground level is surrounded by a private wrap-around deck and flower gardens.

"We've rented the 'Cottage' for our family reunion for nine years-- and already look forward to our next visit. It's a beautifully furnished large home that accommodates both formal and informal activities for families with both adults and children. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well furnished with quality linens and towels and rugs, and the variety of kitchen appliances, pots and pans, cutlery, dishes and glassware make cooking and enjoying meals part of the fun. There are both formal and informal dining areas, barbeque supplies-- and access to fresh air porches and beautiful views of the shore. There's even a small kid's playroom with a large 'doll house-castle' and an assortment of board games to keep everyone entertained! The large living room is adjacent to a covered front porch with a mix of outdoor chairs and seating that provide a great place for chatting, reading, snacking or just watching the nearby shoreline and boats. And the house has easy access to nearby hiking paths for relaxing trail walks. The management has always been helpful and responsive to any needs and requests that arise!"
