Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at Lake Elmore/Elmore State Park - less than a mile away for kayaking, fishing/ice fishing, swimming, and hiking.
Grab a fantastic artisan pizza and 4 pack of craft beer, fresh baked bread, or local maple syrup at the historic Elmore Store (which houses Fire Tower Pizza).
Take a scenic bike ride on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (93 miles and counting), or a day on the slopes at Stowe or Smugglers Notch! Experience one of the many hiking trails, breweries, or golf courses nearby. Go antiquing or browse the shops in the lovely town squares of Morrisville and Hardwick.
End the day watching the stars next to the pond, cozying up by the fire pit with a glass of wine or an excellent craft beer from Lost Nation, Rock Art, The Alchemist, Hill Farmstead, Idletyme, Lawson's...the list goes on!

Please be aware that this is the country. You may encounter a bug or a critter here and there. There are bears in the area. Use common sense and be mindful of your animals off leash.
Located in Wolcott, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a lake. Tea at the Governor's House and The Governor's House are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include The Current: A Center for Contemporary Art and Vermont Ski Museum. Swimming Hole and Stowe Golf Park are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, and don't miss out on the sledding and snowmobiling.
