Note we currently have a minimum 2 night stay with the exception of Christmas Week (5 nights) or MLK Weekend (3 nights)

We are a 10 min drive to the Carinthia Base Lodge at Mt. Snow, the Happy Haven Lodge is a wonderful retreat for a family ski weekend. On a quiet road, the spacious 6 bedroom 3 bath home provides everything you need for a delightful weekend away.
The space
Thoughtfully updated in 2025, Happy Haven Lodge provides 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 2 common areas. The three-story layout allows for plenty of space for groups to gather, or rooms to find some peace and quiet after a long day on the mountain.

Ground Floor:
2 Bedrooms: 1 Queen Bed + convertible twin sofa / 1 Full Bed.
Upon entering Happy Haven Lodge, kick off your boots & shake off the snow in the newly renovated mudroom. Just beyond that is our main den area with board games and TV for family fun, or pour yourself a drink and relax on one of comfortable couches. Two bedrooms are located off the main room: one with a Queen bed and fold out twin sofa, the other with a full bed next to a ground floor full bath.

Main Floor:
2 Bedrooms: 1 King Bed / 1 Queen Bed & 2 Twin Bunks
The main floor offers a cozy living room space for everyone to gather around a lovely brick wood fireplace. Relax and watch the fire or a movie on the new 55” Smart TV, (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, YouTube TV, HBO Max subscriptions included). The open kitchen comes with all necessary appliances and amenities and opens up to the dining room that comfortably seats eight. Two bedrooms are situated off the main living room, one with a new king bed, the other with a queen and two twin bunks and a full bath next door.
Top Floor:
2 Bedrooms: 1 King Bed & Twin Daybed / 1 Twin Bed and Twin Bunkbed
The upstairs features the largest bedroom in the house with a comfortable king bed & twin daybed for relaxing. The other upstairs bedroom has both a twin bed & two twin bunks as well as an additional twin mattress if needed. This kid’s room has been set up as a game room with a brand new 40” TV and multiple gaming systems (PS4, Nintendo Classic Mini, Switch dock) and is a great place to keep the little ones entertained for hours. The bedrooms are split by a good size full bath.

Basic Home Amenities:
All beds come with linens and blankets & bathrooms are stocked with towels and soap. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, plates and silverware you would need as well as some basic supplies. Wood for the fireplace is provided with extra firewood stored under the deck. The home has just been outfitted with high speed wifi. Two pack & plays are stored in the upstairs closet if needed.

Happy Haven Lodge of course is a wonderful place for a ski weekend, but this area is rich with activities including:

Summer fun at Lake Raponda & Harriman Reservoir
Guest access
MOOver bus at the end of the road provides simple and easy access the mountain.

Wilmington is home to this lodge. Jim McGrath Gallery and Studio and Southern Vermont Natural History Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Mount Snow and The Hermitage Golf Club.
