The space
This spacious mountain chalet was architect-designed and built in 1979. The main living space is on the upper level with an open plan, great for entertaining with family and friends! An expansive living room with vaulted ceilings, huge south facing windows, and a wood burning fireplace opens out to the large front deck. An open kitchen (fully equipped!) and dining area adjoin the living room.
The main bedroom and one full bath are located on this level.
Downstairs is another private bedroom with queen bed, a second full bath, laundry, and a large family room with two bunk beds behind a room divider, and a pull out sofa in the living room area.
Located in Whitingham, this chalet is in a rural area and in the mountains. Browning Bench Agricultural Museum and Kemp-McCarthy Memorial Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Mount Snow and Honora Winery. Buzzy Park and Thunderbolt Mountain Coaster are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and skiing, and don't miss out on the snowmobiling.
