"Whale Cove Retreat" welcomes you as you step into this beautiful 3 story home!
On the First floor, you will find the Family room/ game room adorned with nautical themed decor. Pull up the 2 video game chairs and challenge your guests to video games with the SEGA Genesis game console. And if you need more challenge, step outside to the attached garage where you will find the miniature ping pong table. On this floor you will find the "kids room" with a twin over full size bunk bed, and a full bathroom with tub shower. In addition, there is a leather queen sofa sleeper in this family room.
Venture up to the Second floor and be met with spectacular ocean views ! This floor boasts a comfortable living room space, a half bath, a fully stocked kitchen , with dining that seats your entire group. Wake up in the morning with a nice hot cup of coffee brewed from the Keurig. Step out to the front deck and revel in the beauty as you are surrounded by beautiful nature with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean! In the afternoon, take the family outside onto the deck and BBQ a delicious meal on the easy to use propane grill. Gather together and you may catch glimpses of whale pods swimming in the ocean. After a full meal, maybe take an afternoon nap in the cozy patio lounger and let the sounds of the crashing waves lull you to sleep. In the evening, come inside and snuggle with a book next to the gas fireplace on those chilly nights. Or go outside, turn off all the lights and gaze up at the sky to witness the galaxy of twinkling stars.
Proceed up to the Third floor of the home where you will find the master bedroom with the cozy queen-size bed. The large window allows you to wake up and take in the gorgeous views of the Ocean! There is also a small private den off to the side which houses a twin size bed in the shape of a boat design. This will be a huge hit for the kids or the kid at heart!
This home is situated in a PERFECT location for exploring Shelter Cove, all within walking distance, or quick car ride. From the house, you can grab a few beach chairs and take an easy 9 minute walk to Black Sands Beach. Or if preferred, take a 20 minute leisurely stroll into town where you can get your caffeine buzz at The Fish Tank Expresso Gallery or Surf Point Coffee house Cafe, experience the popular Venezuelan restaurant, meander to the many nature trails, go tidepooling at Mal Coombs Park, play pickleball/basketball at the Shelter Cove community court, or watch golfers hit a hole-in-one at the beautiful ocean front Shelter Cove Golf course. The options are endless!

Other details: The whole house, with all the amenities, are for your use and enjoyment. This home comes with a unique spiral staircase accessing each of the 3 floors. Please note we do not offer baby gates so please plan accordingly if you have toddlers/ children. In the garage, we also offer a bin of outdoor toys including corntoss/bean bag toss game, spike ball, and other sports balls to play on the large park like front yard. Beach chairs provided. There are a variety of family board games located in the living room and game room. We have left 2 sets of golf clubs for Guests to enjoy if they wish to play at Shelter Cove Golf course; an adult set and a junior set. There are 4 pickleball paddles with balls to use at the community sports court. Great for a Parent/ Child golf outing! . Washer/ dryer in garage. Outdoor shower to rinse off by side of house.
