The kitchen tends to become part of the experience too: big breakfasts before first chair, soup and sandwiches between runs, hot chocolate after skiing, and dinners that somehow last a little longer.

A quick note on layout: The lower-level bunks are built into an open hallway-style area, and the upper loft sleeping space has no walls or doors separating the king bed, bunks, or living room below. I wanted Hope Slope Treehouse to feel like more than just a place to sleep after a day on the mountain.

I wanted it to feel like the kind of place where kids get excited about stars over their bunks, where adults sink into the hot tub after a full day outside, and where everyone quietly agrees that leaving tomorrow suddenly feels like a terrible idea.

I personally manage every reservation because hospitality matters deeply to me. Small things are automated for speed so nothing waits. Anything important comes directly from me.
