During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. This skier’s paradise, which boasts legendary runs like Hell Roaring Basin, Home Again, Tree Trails, and Ptarmigan Bowl which have long been known for steep terrain and abundant snowfall and was once widely considered a playground for only the hardest charging skiers and dedicated adventurers. However, in recent decades it has been transformed. With expanded intermediate and beginner terrain and multiple new lifts, and runs the Whitefish Mountain Resort has evolved to meet the needs of skiers of all abilities with over 98 trails. In addition to all the runs National Ski magazine rated Whitefish Mountain Resort as the #3 place to in the entire country! When the snow melts Whitefish Mountain becomes a summer playground home to zip lines, alpine slides, hiking, biking and so much more. Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.
Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!
Guest Access:

Our condos are keyless locks, you will have a personalized door code made for you. Please follow the arrival instructions sent to you the door code will be in your envelope.
Other Things to Note:

The condo furnishes each reservation with a starter set of consumables that includes sample size shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, sponges for dishes, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), trash bags, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, kitchen and bathroom towels. Once this starter set is exhausted, it is the guest’s responsibility to purchase additional provisions.

Whitefish is home to this condo. Whitefish Theatre Company and Alpine Theatre Project are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort and Elk Highlands Chair. Stumptown Ice Den and Whitefish Performing Arts Center are also worth visiting.
