Hike to BumpAss Hell is relatively easy, about two hours roundtrip, yet transports you to the most unusual spectacles: azure blue and green, boiling, steaming water and mud accessed over boardwalks.

Collins Pine Museum and Westwood Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Bailey Creek Golf Course and Lake Almanor West Golf Course. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain climbing and horse riding nearby.
