Welcome to Sandy Pines Beach Cottage, a beautifully appointed, charming, and recently updated beach vacation getaway located in a secluded setting that's surrounded by abundant trees, flowers & shrubs. Conveniently located less than two miles from Westerly's incredible beaches and offered with a summer season beach parking pass for easy beach access. Kids and pets are most welcome. Inside are two Queen bedrooms with high quality mattresses, a large open loft space for kids to sleep, a comfy lounge with a sectional sofa, a large well equipped kitchen with an eat in dining nook, a mud room, a modern bathroom with combination tub and shower and a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside you'll find an outdoor shower, a fire pit with seating, a new Weber gas grill & a comfortable outdoor dining area - all set in a large private yard with ample space for kids and dogs to play. Dedicated off-street parking spaces for up to four cars are outside the front door.
Nestled on a half an acre of land, Sandy Pines is the perfect base for your beach vacation or relaxing rural escape. Enjoy easy access to all the local stores, restaurants, bars & cafes that Westerly, Charlestown and Mystic have to offer, together with the hiking, state parks, beach walks, cycling, tennis, boating, water sports & beach life that's available locally. Local access to high quality deli's, fresh food markets, seafood outlets and grocery stores.
Ferries (and flights) to Block Island and Martha's Vineyard are within easy reach, and the beautiful towns of Newport, Mystic Seaport and Stonington Borough are a short drive away.
Located in Westerly, this cottage is near a water park and near the beach. Misquamicut State Beach and Napatree Point reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration and Wilcox Park. Ninigret and The Flying Horse Carousel are also worth visiting. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hunting and ecotours nearby.
