Enjoy being 1.5 miles from Basic City Brewery & The Foundry. 5 mi from Shenandoah Natl Park, Appalachian & Blue Ridge Tunnel Trails. Just 15mins to Augusta Expo. The Parks & Rec playground & basket ball court is right across the street (we provide a basketball to use)! This home is great for entertaining- has fire pit, game room basement, 2 living rms, gym too!
The space
This is a unique property with lots of charm! It is a historic home with a cabin/Victorian home feel. It has many hang out spots both inside & out. Very spacious! Catch up with friends/family on the glider under the pergola, enjoy bird watching from the large front porch, read a book in the sunroom, roast s’mores by the fire pit, relax in the hammock, have a picnic dinner in the gazebo, or reconnect over dinner in the dining room that seats your whole crew! Many places to spread out here!

There are lots of board games to keep the fun flowing & toys for the kids to play with! We also provide a pack-n-play, baby gate & stroller for your convenience (stored in first floor bedroom closet).

Keep your workout up while you’re away! You will have a home gym complete with 2 exercise bikes, an elliptical, yoga mats & dumbbells. You can also take a short walk on the sidewalk lined streets to the South Greenway trailhead if you’d like to exercise outside! Or go right across the street to the rec center to shoot hoops on the basketball court or for the kids to play on the playground.

Relax in the hammock or have a fireside chat & s’mores by the fire pit! Cook a delicious meal on the beautiful stone charcoal grill (grilling utensils & charcoal found in cabinet next to den door). Have a picnic underneath the bistro lights in the gazebo outside or inside at the 10 seat dining table. Play board games & enjoy tunes on the Alexa Bluetooth speaker to keep the fun flowing!

The Basement is a fun game room with a Pac Man arcade, foosball table, dart board, board/card games, TV. Trundle bed with 2 twins if kids wish to spend the night down there. You will also find the washer & dryer here. We supply laundry pods, iron & ironing board.

Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen complete with spices & a fully stocked coffee station. We provide a coffee, cream & sugar. The coffee pot is a Keurig with a full pot or single serve capability. Other appliances include: blender, crock pot, toaster. Enjoy the nice eat-in breakfast bar & gas stove.

Walk to downtown Waynesboro & the South River Greenway trail right from the house! Be less than 5 mins from Basic City Brewery, The Foundry with live music, The Wayne Theatre with live action plays, the Blue Ridge Tunnel hike, the Shenandoah National Park & walk downtown right from the house! Check out the Waynesboro, VA website event schedule- lots of festivals, carnivals, & live music every Thursday in Constitution Park (walkable from the house) on sidewalk lines streets. P.S. we provide a baby stroller in case you need it!

Master bedroom is on the first floor & has a TV. The other 4 bedrooms are upstairs. All rooms have shelving for clothes & there is 1 bedroom with a desk in case you have to work from here. We have fast wi-fi too!

There are 2 full bathrooms that have bathtub/shower combos. Shampoo, conditioner, & shower gel provided.

EV charging plug available for electric car drivers. Please let us know if you will be using this.

Other things to note
The home uses A/C window units along with ceiling and floor fans for cooling. This works well for keeping the home comfortable in the warmer months. The home has forced air heat for the winter.

Waynesboro is home to this vacation home. Waynesboro Heritage Museum and Wayne Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Shenandoah Valley Art Center and Wildlife Center of Virginia. Consider Hermitage Hill Farm & Stables for a night out or War Fields if you're traveling with kids.
