Oakland Beach is a nice walkable neighborhood featuring several restaurants, including everyone`s favorite Iggy`s! There is plenty of beach access on all three sides, and several place for your to drop a kayak in or go fishing. Down the street there is also a skate park, and the city has recently built a playground and splash pad.

Grocery store, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and several other restaurants are all within 2 miles.

Oakland Beach is often the site for Memorial Day and 4th of July fireworks, carnivals, car shows, and food truck nights throughout the summer.

Launch Trampoline Park and Topgolf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Providence Performing Arts Center and Roger Williams Park Carousel Village. Providence Children's Museum and WaterFire Arts Center are also worth visiting.
