You’ll love the peaceful atmosphere—complete with chirping birds, roaming deer, and the occasional rooster or whippoorwill serenade. Inside, the open floor plan features hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided), and a comfy seating area with a 39" HD TV and VCR for cozy movie nights. The main floor has a full bedroom and bathroom, while the upstairs loft includes a second sleeping area and a convenient half-bath. Pet lovers rejoice—dogs are welcome (sorry, no cats due to allergies), and a partially fenced yard makes it easy to let your pup explore. Step directly from the porch into nature or take a scenic stroll around the quiet neighborhood. Located near the NC-GA border, Lorelai’s Lair is just minutes from charming towns like Hayesville, Brasstown, Murphy, and Hiawassee, GA. You'll be close to Lake Chatuge, Fontana Dam, the John C. Campbell Folk School, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, and some of the best trout fishing in the region (licenses required). Outdoor adventures abound—boat rentals, kayaking, canoeing, hiking trails—and there's no shortage of local charm with antique shops, a movie theater, and delicious hometown eateries nearby. Whether you're soaking in the hot tub, napping in the hammock, or feeding the birds from the porch, Lorelai’s Lair invites you to slow down and savor mountain life.
Located in Warne, this hotel is in a rural area and in the mountains. Cherokee Homestead Exhibit and Chatuge Dam are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Rollins Planetarium and Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.
