Walden is surrounded 360 degrees by mountains to go and explore. Head 17miles East to the Rawah Wilderness or 23 miles West to the Mt Zirkel Wilderness. Go North 11 miles to Walden's very own sand dunes. Or go South 7 miles to the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge. You are only 30 miles from Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. After a day of adventure, walk out to the gazebo and soak in the lovely hot tub featuring entertaining water features, such as waterfalls, lights, a variety of jets and seating positions.
Included with the house is a fully fenced pasture for your equine. And for your fur babies, there is a beautiful fenced dog run with plenty of room for them. Walden has something to offer year-round from ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snow boarding, fishing, local rodeos, county fair, mountain biking, hiking, ATVs, and hunting.
