Exceeded expectations
When we walked in the door we instantly felt spoiled! This place was very clean and cozy and fit our family and needs perfectly! The town of volcano is so quaint and makes it easy to access the southern parts of the big island. This house was not to far from the main highway and we enjoyed our stay there. The laundry machines, showers, and cookware were great! Thanks for hosting us and our tribe!

Nevertheless, like any moist and fertile environment, you may find some ants, mosquitoes, roaches and critters like little geckos that share this beautiful world with humans. To keep out bugs, remember to close the doors right after entering. Don't leave food or crumbs on counters or tables and avoid eating at the bed because ants are really smart and fast.

Located in Ohia Estates, a neighborhood in Volcano, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Volcano Garden Arts and Volcano House are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Volcano Golf and Country Club and Volcano Winery. Aloha Candy Company and Akatsuka Orchid Gardens are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
