Welcome to "The End of the World," and thank you for your interest in the "The Lucky Loutre." The "LL" is a freshly renovated houseboat for outdoorsmen by outdoorsmen, and is conveniently located on B Dock #45 in Venice Marina. Nestled between some of the most notorious charter captains in the world, the "LL" allows for the charter captains to pull directly up to our dock, offering our tenants an extra hour of sleep before their big adventure begins. As soon as you walk through the door of the "LL" you will notice no expense was spared on the renovation. You will be greeted by fully reclinable theater seating facing a 55" screen, where Directv is at your fingertips, as well as, NFL Sunday Ticket. Your mobil devices will immediately connect to our Hughes Net Wifi as you start to unpack your gear into our bins neatly located under each bunk, of which we have four full beds and two twins. Each full size bunk includes fresh linens and built in USB charging, while the twins offer standard plugs bedside. The "LL" offers a full size bathroom with a tankless hot water heater, so no more "last person takes an ice bath" due to a small tank running low. The twin bunk room offers a flat screen for the kiddos or use the swing mount and watch two games at once from the comfort of the theater seating (a wifi device such as a FireStick or Roku is needed for this TV, and is not provided). Once you are settled in, it's time to load the full size fridge with supplies, crack open a beverage and prep your food for the full size grill on the deck or make the short walk over to "CrawGators" in Venice Marina for dinner. After dinner, enjoy the evening on our dock from our rocking chairs before you settle in for night. Mornings are never rushed at the "LL" due to our location and morning amenities. Breakfast is easily cooked on our full size gas range/oven and a coffee bar is at your disposal, featuring both a standard coffee maker & Keurig. When the day is ready to begin either step out to the dock for your charter pick up, or hop in your own boat that's tied to our dock, but don't forget to load the coolers with ice before you leave. Our 100lb ice machine is at your disposal on the back deck, ready for you to ice your catch down. After the day is done, use one or both of our cleaning stations, we like to base it on shade to choose which one we use. Venice is a magical place and is the reason Louisiana is called the "Sportsman's Paradise," so whether you are after billfish, tuna, redfish, trout, ducks, hogs, or even flyfishing we hope you choose us for your stay.

Located in Venice, this houseboat is on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Mississippi River and Community Prayer Center Park, while Fort Jackson and Fort Jackson Museum are cultural highlights.
