If you arrive late at night or when the ferry is not running, private motorized water canoes operate 24/7 to cross you over safely for just $2–$3 USD at any hour. For those who prefer to drive, the property is also fully accessible by standard roads via Kasanje and features free, secure parking on-site. Our retreat serves as the perfect base for local adventure and exploration. We are located close to the world-famous Mabamba Shoebill Bird Sanctuary, making it easy to book a boat tour to track the prehistoric Shoebill Stork and spot rare birds.
