Nestled in the foothills on the edge of Joshua Tree National Park, this stylish desert house is a peaceful hideaway designed for comfort and urban escapism. The light-filled living room opens up to desert mountain views ready for sunset BBQ grilling, quail feeding in the alcove, cooling off in the cowboy pool, a fire pit and oversized hammocks for late-night stargazing. ENTRANCE TO PARK IS 7 MIN AWAY.
ABOUT THE HOUSE:
This open air, light-filled house has been thoughtfully designed with family and friends in mind. Every room has been newly remodeled for those seeking solitude and down time in the fresh air and desert sun. The spacious living/dining area opens up to the dining patio, BBQ grill and cowboy pool, hot tub, hammocks, fire pit and picnic table around the corner
KITCHEN: Fully equipped kitchen w/ modern appliances, cooking set & spices, french press, coffee maker, whole bean grinder, toaster and toaster oven, interior and exterior plates and glassware.
MAIN BEDROOM with a king sized bed, a custom redwood platform has a sliding door adding ample light and access to the backyard. The ensuite bathroom features a rainfall antique brass shower head, charcoal tiles and plenty of plants soaking up sun under the skylight.
2nd & 3rd BEDROOM have queen Tuft & Needle mattress and share a separate bathroom. For the digital nomads, the third bedroom can convert into an office complete with an electric standing desk, laser printer, monitor and mouse and fast wifi.
( NOTE: This is a 3 bed house but have a separate listing as a 2 bedroom. This is an exclusive house and NOT communal living)
OUTDOOR SPACE is perfect for kids to roam the enclosed yard and couples to relax and unwind from excursions in The Park. There is a cowboy pool, soft tub, oversized hammocks and a firepit on the half acre. There is also easy hiking just across the street. Expect plenty of California Gamble quails to gather around the feeding hole. Jackrabbits, roadrunners, ground squirrels, white lizards and coyote sightings from the property too!

The town of 29 Palms (5 min away) is in resurgence with new restaurants and shops and a just-opened Visitor Center hosting outdoor concerts. The house is close to town for essentials and local exploring but secluded enough for complete privacy - the best of both worlds!
