This impeccably maintained home features an open great room and master suite on the main level! Cozy up on cooler nights in front of the fire or take a quick ride into downtown Truckee. This modern home is very centrally located and affords easy access to both downtown Truckee and Northstar! And for those who may need to work on occasion, the bedrooms are all very spacious and it`s not hard to find a private place to concentrate. A Must See!

This property is not registered as a Short Term Rental and only accepts reservations that are 31 nights or longer in duration.

Community quiet hours from 9pm - 8am daily.

No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.

No smoking of vaping.

No commercial photography and / or filming allowed.

While this house is “pet friendly”, all pets must be disclosed when booking and a non-refundable pet fee must be paid. Maximum 2 mid-size dogs per rental group (any others must be approved by host in advance). Guests agree to take full financial responsibility should there be any damage or additional cleaning required due to pets presence.

There is parking for 2 vehicles in the garage. Vehicles can not be parked on the street or left in the driveway at any time due to Homeowners Association rules.

No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).

Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.

Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home.

The region is accustomed to dealing with snow, and the road is plowed on a regular basis. That said, it can be slippery and the schedule for clearing the road and / or driveway is not under our control. Carry chains, water, a snow shovel and monitor road conditions for your trip.

The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 6 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).

You’ll be able to enter the home through the attached garage, however note that during winter storms, berms may accumulate in front of the garage and will need to be shoveled in order to be access. Depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), the berms may need to be shoveled. There are shovels located inside the garage that you are welcome to use, but we also recommend traveling with a shovel during winter travel.

Located in Truckee, this vacation home is in the mountains. Northstar California Resort and Palisades Tahoe are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Donner Lake and Kings Beach State Recreation Area. Village Ice Skating Rink and North Shore Parasail are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or check out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling and sledding.
