Private lakefront home nestled on a point with stunning 180 degree views of Lake Norman. The home sits on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood giving the feeling of a private retreat. It was recently remodled with just over 2500 square of living space including 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The home offers luxurious finishes and furnishings. There are two living spaces for resting and relaxing and a screened in porch with multiple seating areas running the length of the house. It is the perfect spot to spend the afternoon with a book or watch the activity on the lake. The home includes a private boat launch and private covered dock with ladder for swimming or just sitting out and taking in the view. There is a lakeside wood burning firepit for roasting marshmallows in the evening as well as a wooden swing for taking in breathtaking sunrises. Also included are patio chairs and loungers for sunbathing or napping or an array of water toys for the more adventurous. Kayaks, a paddleboard, a floating lilypad and multiple floats for lounging in the lake are provided. Nearby Lake Norman State Park (1.7 miles) offers 31 miles of biking trails, 38 miles of hiking trails as well as public swimming access and pedal boat rentals. The state park boasts 17 miles of lake shoreline with picnicing, fishing and bird watching opportunities including 25 great blue heron nests. The town of Troutman is just 3.8 miles away and offers a grocery store, drugstore, gas and a number of local restaurants and coffeeshops.
Troutman is home to this vacation home. Lake Norman and Lake Norman State Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Zootastic Park and George Pappas' Victory Lanes. NC Auto Racing Hall of Fame and GoPro Motorplex are also worth visiting.
