Yona, Native American for Bear, is a brand new, luxury, four bedroom, three bath, lodge that is conveniently located in the gated Laurel Valley community and offers unobscured views of the largest mountain peaks in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and beyond.
A well stocked Gourmet's kitchen with the most modern stainless steel appliances will have everything you need to enjoy meals with family and friends, including your own Coffee Bar! The kitchen flows into the dining area and living room, where everyone can enjoy socializing, game nights on the large table, or watching the big game on a large flat screen television.
The covered porch and open decks with comfy patio furniture provide the ultimate outdoor space for enjoying the surrounding scenery, starlit nights, and layers of mountain views.
The Primary Suite is located on the main floor and you are certain to get a rejuvenating sleep in the King Bed with Deluxe bedding that faces the Eastern Sun rising over the valley and park views.
Upstairs you will find another Deluxe Suite with King Bed and luxury bathroom.
Downstairs is a retreat in itself with an open game room and Den, complete with retro game machines, bumper pool, and all of your favorite board games. This level also has a private covered deck with a an oversized hot tub for relaxing after an adventurous hike in the Smokies or a day of tubing or kayaking on the Little River.
There are two adjoining bedrooms with Queen beds, as well as a shared bathroom with double vanity and a shower bathtub combination.
For a lazy day of relaxation, enjoy complimentary swimming privileges at the Wild Laurel Golf Course where you can sit poolside and have lunch or a drink from the Wild Laurel Tavern. If you left your clubs at home, you can still enjoy one of the most scenic rounds of golf in the Smokies with Ping rental clubs from the Golf Shop.
Townsend is home to this vacation home. The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum and Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Tuckaleechee Caverns and Dark Island Swinging Bridge. Tube Junction and River Rage Go-Kart Track are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for outdoor excitement like hiking.
